Creative Producer
Shape the future of theatre for young audiences
​
Following the departure of our Artistic Director of 14 years, Arena Theatre Company seeks an experienced Creative Producer to provide senior artistic leadership and shape our creative vision in close partnership with the CEO.
The Role This newly created position provides senior artistic leadership for Arena’s creative programming. Working directly with the CEO and Artistic and Creative Development Advisory Committee, you’ll shape creative vision while managing delivery of ambitious programs including The Creativerse festival, touring productions, and innovative artistic collaborations.
Position Details

0.6-0.8 FTE, 2-year contract with potential to develop into ongoing full-time position

Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000 FTE (based on experience)

Location: Bendigo-based with hybrid flexibility (minimum 2 days/week onsite)

Fundraising & Impact Coordinator

Support funding success and measure impact for our transformative creative programs
Arena Theatre Company seeks a Fundraising & Impact Coordinator to support our funding efforts while building compelling evidence of our impact on children’s creativity, confidence, and social connection. This integrated role creates a powerful synergy where evaluation strengthens funding applications and funding enables deeper impact measurement.
The Role You’ll support funding efforts through grant preparation, campaign coordination, and donor cultivation while designing and implementing evaluation frameworks with research partners. Working closely with the CEO, you’ll translate impact data into compelling narratives for funders, support Arena’s 2026 Plus1 matched funding campaign ($50,000 target), and shape our emerging Social Impact Measurement Framework.

0.4 FTE (2 days/week), 12-month fixed-term contract with extension possible, or retainer arrangement

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 pro rata

Internship - Operations & Marketing Support
​
An exciting opportunity exists for an emerging arts worker to join us here at Arena in a paid Operations and Marketing internship position.​
The Operations and Marketing internship will be supporting day-to-day administration, operations and marketing tasks. Perfect for a creative and adaptable team player. The role will commence in early 2026 initially as an 8-week position at 2 days per week with the potential to become ongoing.
​You must live, study, or work in Greater Bendigo to be eligible for this opportunity.
